Lunch with an 'Unexpected' Treat!

This week we changed our appointment with the chinese sensei from Monday to Wednesday. So today, we were quite early and the second patient arrived, so massaged over around 11.20 a.m. Normally after physio or Chinese sensei, we had lunch outside. Since we had no other plans and very near to K.L, we decided to have lunch in Pavillion. First I thought, biar betul! but why not?? For his sensation, of cousrse I insisted that he wear his sweater. At Pavillion, we had our lunch at the'Food Republic' corner. Hubby had char Kway tiau and me..what else 'Seafood Curry Mee' and ais kacang.
We enjoyed the food, sambil ternganga2 tengok gelagat manusia...macam2 pesen. Then later, we took the elevator up, to watch clearly the beautiful decoration that they prepared for Christmas. Memang cantik, the rich Christmas color, gold, green and red, that made it so grand. Only when I realized that today is Pre sale day..for handbags and shoes. Macam tau2 aje. Honestly, did not plan pun..just coincident! Dengan Iman yang teguh ku masuk kedai tu. Argh! No!! I was taken aback by one particular pair and the cheapest around. Kena banyak lagi berzikir ni,... lalu terbabit lah dengan sepasang kasut. I kept telling hubby *with feelings of guilt* I need one, dah lama tak beli.. Macam lah dia tak faham isterinya, he didn't mind, I know. *Shoes are my wickness* I have a weak spot on them in my heart!
Should I feel guilty? Patut!!! BUT, Kasut are a must apa! Without kasut, nanti berkaki ayam pulak, he, he, he..

When we reached home, it was quite late, due to terrible jammed. My dear Fifa sedang melipat baju, *very considerate daughter* she must be thinking I was tied up at the sensei and she, took the trouble to lipat baju before going to Class, but seeing me holding the shoe bag, she gave an unfriendly looked, then off to College. Sorry la girl... I got carried away!
Well firstly, I want to share my 'weak spot'

Shoes, are my passion!!

'Aidil Adha'

Plants for the week:

Orchid yang di nanti2, it took about one an a half weeks
for the petals to develop.

Finally, it bloomed beautifully!

The one my Sis Liza gave for my birthday, and fully
bloomed too. Thanks a million, love the color.

'Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha'

We celebrated this day dengan serdahana. Hubby and the boys pagi2 dah ke mesjid supaya tak berebut. Meanwhile, I set the table for breakfast and food that I had prepared the night before. I cooked Soto Ayam and Northwest Cheesecake. These days food were cooked simple. I meant, not variety, but there must be self cooked food served on the table.. to maintain the tradition! And so as not to put pressure on myself or else I'll go kaboom..boom!!

Enjoy your food, Pa!

After breakfast, kami bertandang ke rumah Wan Chu *my Aunt* di Setapak . Memang betul2 rasa Raya. We stayed less than 3 hours, as hubby started to feel restless.

No!! Aydan, You're too young to hold the stick!!!

Eh! Arab mana pulak tu! My son Syazwan and Cousin Len.

The baking weekends.

The last weekend with inspirations!! Fifa and me were inspired by the new Astro channel TLC. We watched for hours, like nothing else matters...
It was a lazy Sunday, we got to do what we like..taking our sweet time..no visitors, no going out and no rushing..eee! seronoknya! And towards evening we decided to cook. I made Tortillas with chicken fillings and Fifa baked Brownies.

The Chef *fifa* with a big appetite

'Hermes'

Where shall I begin...I had been wanting to continue sharing my sentimental things. As we know, during the previous post I had plenty of photos about my Outings and family gathering. So today *special for this week* I would like to take the opportunity to share my sentimental plates from Geneve.
It's 'Hermes', originally from France. Was brought here by my late brother in law, who lived in Geneva about 23 years ago. At that time, tak tahu nak appreciate branded name like 'Hermes'. As we all know how pricey this brand is..and imagine 23 years ago, we just started our married lives. It was rather shocked to know how much it cost at that time. But now, bila dah tau benar the name 'Hermes' and we own it hmm.... very proud! Who wouldn't? it's 'Hermes!!

Look at the beauty of the plate!! can you describe the design? To me, there are
some oriental touch
in it, or the color blue that makes it looked Oriental..agree?

It's has been in the cupboard ever since, too valuable to be
out somewhere else!!

And the only other collection of 'Hermes' is a gift *parfume* from our dear kids to their Papa on his recent birthday!

Well Kids, wait till your Papa up running on his two feet, and spray this as
much as he want.
Meanwhile, let it decorate your Mum's dressing table!!

A Visit from Mum and Dad!

Plants for this week.

A belated birthday gift from Sister Liza

I was so grateful to my sister Teh and her hubby for bringing parents to my house during last Deepavali Holiday. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!!
Though exhausted and tired *with no maid* but we had fun. Buat kerja, sambil mulut tak berhenti bercakap, ada je cerita. These time, I did'nt really entertained my guest as my hubby's condition who needed more attention due to his unbearable sensation on his body. To see him like that, really broke my heart...don't know what to do. But overall, he is doing fine, jalan pun dah steady except for the sensation that made him feel uncomfortable, dah jadi anti social. Huh!! hope to God, we will go through this dengan tabah.

Berbalik kepada cerita parents tadi... They came on Friday evening. Itu pun I knew very late..sebab tak buka phone, they had been calling and sending messages. Well, really thought they had cancelled the trip here. Anyway, like always I had prepared some recipe of mine, baked Chocolate Banana Cake, Jelly and Puff pastry with beef filling. And we had barbeque for dinner. My nephew Taqi and wife Mimi prepared and marinated ikan pari and kembong before they came. Enjoyed, but at the same time, uhuk! uhuk! sakit badan!!! Oh, not forgotten, my dear Fifa, tanpa mu pitam lah daku! he, he! Nasib baik Ma ajar buat kerja kan..
By the way, thanks Nazie, *my niece* penat basuh pinggan. Anyway girls, You were amazing! Keep up the good work!! And remember, tiap2 pujian yang di beri kepada kita adalah satu Doa!

My Mum is a person who likes to spend most of her time in the house. Nak ajak keluar pun susah. Thought of going out or buy back food but finally I cooked simple Lunch the next day. And still managed to bake Mum"s favourite Bread Puding.
They left to Ipoh on Sunday morning after breakfast. Tak tau kenapa, I was like having Jet Lag the next day..zzz...zzzz.

My Mama and Cicit Aydan.

My Dad!

My sis Teh and Me.

My Son Syazwan and Nephew Taqi

Taqi's own recipe. Hmm, sedap!!

As you can see here, the pinggan mangkok beraneka corak,
It was the kids who organised the barbeque and the
table setting too!

Sometime last week, we had this meeting, which we named it Cry Shoulder Session! It started when Fairus and I wanted to have Breakfast and Calling All friends who wish to join. It was before I fetch hubby from Physio between 10 am to 12 pm. Never could we expected to pour or consult one another. Tak di sangka, everyone got emotional. Sob! sob!... But what a relief! Ada follow up ke? Dengar cerita, ada!!

The Desperate Housewife??

Cutoo get Togateher.

This time it was at 'Shogun' Pyramid Sunway. We were supposed to meet at 12a.m, but nobody was early except for me, Fairus and Yati *janji melayu* We wasted no time to wallup the food. Macam kuat sangat makan, I started with the Lamb shank pun dah tak larat. It was a buffet, Shogun served Japanese food, Thai, Korean, Mediterranean, chinese, and many more. Apa nak lagi, semua ada. There were various kind of soup, ada Tom yam, Soup ekor, seafood, Miso, shark fin and also english soup like cream of mushroom and etc. Lega, apa nak semua ada. Oh, except for Malay kampong food yang tak ada, he, he. We enjoyed *sembang2 * till the last call, that was at 3p.m.

My first course, 'De Lamb Shank'

Look!! everyone had lamb shank on their plate.

Smile girls, and say cheese!!!!
