Dream.....

After the last two occasions that just went by, I just wanted to laze around in the house and looked for old books to do craftwork instead. I did Crochet, but halfway, I cannot understand the photostat copy I bought. I could not find my old Crochet book. And now waiting for my sister Teh to pass me hers. What to expect when you last doing it 28 years ago. Hmm, the crave for Craft is back....
Cooking? I forced myself for Hb and the kids. Understood, that Life is not about relaxing or having to eat out all the time. But, I know, Hb wouldn't mind if I suggested having lunch outside everyday. It's what he wanted.... to relieve the boredom was by going out. But, not for long, for he would be restless with the disturbing sensation on his hands and some parts of his body are still strong. Yup, had to bear with that....outing and quicky, quicky dah kena balik.
Okay, yesterday we had lunch at 'Belangga' Empire Subang. I had been telling Hb about the food. It's more towards Kelantanese Delicacy. Memang Sedap! I highly recommend this place, with reasonable price? Okay I guessed, with that environment and location...and what's important is the food, it's something to talk about.

And what I cooked for dinner last night was actually not planned. I made Thin Crusty Pizza, Cinnamon rolls and salad to go with the Pizza. Eventhough malas, but cooking is something that is a must to every women, especially housewife. But, with passion... then, as a result, you'll have great satisfaction.

I guessed, Cooking is my skill. I have been wanting to pursue my dream into the cake business. What if I fail or just 'hangat hangat taik ayam'? What if... I Must NOT have that Negative Thinking!! Nothing wrong if I fail. It's something to help me occupied, besides being with Hb of course, I want to do it for pleasure FOR THE LOVE OF BAKING.. And ENTAH bila this dream will come through or it will just be only a dream then. I hope I wasn't rambling about the idea..AM SERIOUS!! *Ehh....boleh ke??*

'Happy Father's Day!'

For 'Papa'

A dad is someone who
wants to keep you from making mistakes.

and has faith in you even when you fail....

Papa, you're someone to look up to,

no matter how tall I've grown.

It was a touching but also proud moment when my kids wished and kissed their Papa on his cheek the first thing they woke up...sob, sob...
I could not held my tears as I flashed back when they were little hugging and kissing Papa excitedly on occasion like this. And I am very very pleased that things remained the way it was.

We went out to celebrate that night at Sheesh Mahall Northern Indian Restaurant in Subang Jaya. I had invited my niece Nadira to join us as she was all alone and away from her parents. Well, don't ask me what we ordered, I don't remember other than Pilaff Rice and Naan Bread.

'Doa Selamat'

Ya... the big day had finally came and end with satisfaction. It's Cuttoo Time, at my Place on Friday 17th, June.
We did it differently this time started with Recited Yassin followed by Doa Selamat, led by Hajjah Tun from Kota Kemuning. I had invited my Cuttoo friends and neighbors as well, about 20 people attended. Preparations were made a few days earlier, baking and the setting up and can't wait to take pictures....yeah,yeah!
I cooked Kampong Food, Tempoyak Ikan Patin, Masak lemak nenas/udang, Terung masak siam, perbagai ulam dan pelbagai sambal. My friends Lina and Roslina brought kerabu and Som tam. Tunggu.... my menu belum habis lagi.. my English delights, such as Roast Beef, Potato Salad and Chicken Pie. For Dessert... Apple Pie, Chocolate Banana and Red Velvet Cake plus Bubur kacang with Durian done by a Friend, Fairuz. And some Kueh brought by some friends. Indeed, plenty of selection of Food. Whooh! it's like Hotel Buffet.
Huhuhu, Camera tiba2 hilang, no pictures of the mengaji part. Found it later... regretted did not snap more pictures on Food. Saya lah Host, camera man and tukang masak. But, what more could I asked for, tho, penat giller... hasrat baca yassin tercapai and majlis pun alhamdullilah sempurna. And most of all I like to thank my Darling Hb for letting me organized this occasion in our house.

What a week, I was under the weather. I am having a bad cold and fever. Need to rest more before my big day!

Garden..With Herbs, Veges and Flowers

Hello Peeps.
I do hope you alls are occupied with the things you love.
And me, I was busy busy..with the things I love..not cooking, but yes, Gardening..hikhikhik..excited!
Went to Sungai Buloh again, remember, last time was in April. Banyak bunga2 baru yang I have not seen before. Tak berani nak beli, takut it would not survive long kat sini and quite pricey pulak tu. Rasa nak angkut semua balik. No, am NOT, an impulsive buyer, mind you. No doubt suka membeli, but careful, hehe. My first stop was at the shop selling Herbs. I bought oregano, rosemary, mint leaves, pokok saderi, basil, brinjal, lady's fingers, and chili. Yes, saya nak jadi pekebun kecil. I always love to have Herb garden where I could just pluck them fresh..wonderful! Dah tak larat tanam from seeds...tak besar besar.
And I also bought flowers, Salvia *looked like lavender* roses, petunia, lady of the night *sundal malam* empat je, see, I was'nt carried away. And some organic soil. Imagine with that loads at the back seat with maid seated at the corner and fetched Hb at Pantai.. Then, had lunch at Anjung Merah lagi.
I planted my plants into the pots as soon as I reached home. And took me three days to reorganize my garden. As I mentioned earlier, I needed to replant my orchids and some old plants yang sungguh tidak di beri perhatian selama ni..kejam saya. I hope the plants will respond to me....haha. I was most of the time at the garden looking at my plants. I love the new surroundings. Ubah sini, ubah sana..tak abis2..Ish! masih tak puas hati, besok la pulak.
