Afternoon Tea With My Neighbors...

Time flies before you know it..sedar2 dah habis Syawal, and one month to another dengan sekelip mata. And now it had been a week I'd sent and waited for Hb, approximately 2 hrs everyday. Another week to go and we will see the outcome of the Therapy.

And this time, no more Amcorp Mall but to Bangsar and...Midvalley lol. It wasn't that far, not more than 5 kilometers after all. Jalan sorang2 and when you get parking far from the entrance is really a nightmare. But I did walked alone the other day, was lucky it was just a few meters away my car to the entrance. So, yesterday I brought my maid along. Wah! happiness mek Indon tu...smilling all the way, sempat called her daughter telling that she's out to KL.
It's Metro Sale.. nothing extravaganza. But you know, bila dengar 'Sale' mesti nak beli. Itu pun I got the really really bargain goods...mostly for my kids, bedsheets, towels and what not. Did I get anything for myself? Well ya, also from bargain corner, some plates. It's a must to be around the Living Quarters.

Tea With Neighbors...
We had Tea in my house with my neighbors yesterday on their request. A small group gathering. After coming back from my errand I quickly prepared Beef Pie, Sandwiches, Croissant Pudding and Triffle...a bit too elaborate eh! My neighbors's mum Datin Sharifah *someone I look up to, tho from a high society background yet humble and a wonderful Mum as I like to describe her and who adore me, wished to have Tea with us. We were pleased, of course. I invited a few more guests, Kak Faridah/Hb and Zulita *she came alone* Just a few days ago, my neighbor Kak Faridah had invited us for Tea *the same people invited to my house*..and from there it continues... There will be an invitation after this from Zulita. Alhamdullillah, melimpah2 rezeki makan tahun ni.

Two Good Recipes...

Hi....
Hb started Therapy at UMSC yesterday at 2 pm. and finished at 4pm. I hang around shops at Amcorp Mall for two long hours. Only the Book Store interest me.
But two hours in Bangsar is a short time. You can never compare window shopping at Bangsar Village (the place I used to go when Hb did Pyhsio at Pantai Hospital) Bangsar is known for the Rich and Famous...*suka tengok orang* I used to linger from one shop to another without feeling bored.
But *sob* Amcorp Mall is rather run down..nak pergi toilet pun takut, kinda spooky...
No choice.. that's the nearest place from UMSC to lepak lol!

Baking with fun...
Wanna share some wonderful recipes I did during the weekend.
First recipe was Scones, I baked on Saturday morning... got the recipe from Nigella. It tasted so gooood that you could keep it for one whole day *and still soft*.... I think that's the best Scones I've ever made. And thanks to my kids for the Recipe book. I had tried 4 recipes from the book and it didn't disappoint me at all.

A wonderful day start with good Food

The 2nd recipe was Cheese Cake. Not from Nigella but from my Sister Teh. I totally forgot about the cream cheese that I bought almost a month ago and already close to it's expiry date. So, I started to baked. And the result was .... Wallah! soft, creamy and Yum!
Well, you see, tho Raya has come to its end but I was still baking......

Cootoo And Raya Get Together In English Setting...

Hi ladies...
Proudly on behalf of Shidah, I would like to share how beautiful Shidah had organized the party for us Cootoo Kakis. My friend Shidah is popularly known among us as *Shidah English* It was on Wednesday afternoon, 21st Sept, and it was raining heavily. Oh yes... it's like having Tea Party in cold Country.... Ahaks! In an English decoration and environment..gitu.
Let us enjoy her enchanting setting and to the house decor. How adorable her English touch in every corner and to the selection of food served *her main dish... typical melayu, sorry Shidah... Laksa Johor, hahaha. But, No kidding man...sedap tak terkata!

Drained Out.....

Hi everyone,
We are in the 3rd week of Syawal. I was drained out with Open House and the never stop eating event..hehe. But Tuesday, life was back as usual, with Hb to the new Hospital UMSC for the 2nd appointment with Dr. Lydia and had started his first Therapy *Acupunture*
Starting next week, it's gonna be straight 5 days from Monday to Friday, the complete Intensive Therapy. Insyallah with God's willing, may everything goes smoothly.

Meanwhile......

I had to leave my Brother and family in the house, we had invitation at my cousin Mardiah's house in Subang Jaya. She invited only small group, me and my Sister Intan and family.

Well, enough of Riang Ria Raya photos for now. There are still lots of Open Houses for the next coming days. It was a tiring day today. We went to Bangsar and enjoyed window shopping and lunch. No words can decribe the simple joy of looking at things that our hearts desire.
