Last Kopek before Ramadhan.

There were lots of Going On this week...from appointments to socializing. Tired but was totally satisfied when it's done. And also preparation for Ramadhan, I had all planned up, so far..alhamdullillah.
Haish! a few Mornings that I had to wake up really early, rushing to do my errands like Marketing, Appointments and not to mention my Meetings with friends...Hurgh!..gasping for breath*...
And I'm sure you ladies, are running out of time catching up with friends for a drink or makan makan before this Puasa coming...*Last Kopek before Ramadhan*
Yes, I had been going out a lot lately...*guilty, had to leave Hb, but of course with his permission!*


Thursday, out with my neighbourhood friends Zulita and Kak Faridah. Tho, we were busy with our chores but still made an effort to meet. We only had one hour at Secret Recipe..oh yes, we enjoyed every minute of it..

Cuttoo Get Together
Friday, we decided to have our August Cuttoo get together earlier, as we know August is already Fasting Month. And it was held in Kelab Golf Negara Subang *KGNS* And since Yours Truly and Yati's Birthday falls on that month, the Kakis celebrated our Day. It was a wet morning...it rained heavily from dawn till early Noon. And imagine, we had to be there by 9a.m...with the jam bumper to bumper. And the same day, had an appointment with Dr. Zurin at Damansara specialist Centre...Hb's regular check up...Phew!! pening...pening.

Meanwhile came Saturday... Sooo tiring day, went to the Market... sacrificed my another early morning and lots of cleaning up from marketing and my bedroom was due to be tidied *tho, having a maid, I cleans my own room*

And, evening..another outing with another neighborhood friend who celebrated her Anniversary *by right it should be 31st July* but had it on this day. Yes! it's our Anniversary too, falls on the same day! The best part was, she still wanted to celebrate, tho her Hb was away outstation....but with only ladies invited.

Coffee At T Forty Two

I had been wanting to try/taste and also make comparison of some cakes at fancy cafes that sells the current favorite cakes. When you want to know exactly how does one cake taste, you have to try it, then only you could compare whether yours is comparable to this specific cafes.
Before one could claim theirs are the best...always compare to the best or current favorites.

So, this morning off I went to T Forty Two in Bangsar Village, before fetching Hb from Physio. Hb insisted that I go alone. The place is posh, and more to *French dining* The ambience was so cosy, and it's awesome to have High Tea that served on three tier stand. They had a few range of delectable desserts and main course.
I glanced at the menu given, and reminded myself my purposed of coming was to try the cake. Actually the time was 11.20 a.m, the cafe had just opened. I guessed they yet to display more cup cakes, and slices as it's still early. I only wanted cup cakes, anything in small portion. I ordered Red Velvet and a cup of Cappucino. Woh! It was a big slice...alamak, I can't finish it *I thought* I do loved the setting by the way, the Cup and Saucer, it looked sumptuous...didn't get the chance to look what the brand was, hehehe...naughty me.
... And what do I think of the cake? Well, not to my expectation... There's nothing special to describe. You know when you mention Red Velvet, firstly, the color Red, then the Cream Cheese and Lemony taste. I didn't get that at all... so sorry to say. Anyway, I had to finish the cake, it cost me Rm.10.90.

Meanwhile back home.....
I seemed to have all the time in the world.. Curry Puff for Ramadhan.

Project for Raya...

My Cushions were finally sewn,, washed and pressed. Thought of displaying them on the sofas but Fifa disagreed...tunggu Raya, she said. Well, on second thoughts, she's right....baru lah thrill kan.
I sew eight pieces of Cushions.... for precaution, I had to swallow twice a day anti histamine pills to avoid sinus and allergy. No rashes...but phlegm/mucus clogged up my throat, it irritated me the whole time I was working...that's the sign of allergy. But phew!! my job is done, after all.
A simple perpatah melayu ada mengatakan...Nak seribu daya tak nak seribu helah. OR..If there is a will, there is a way!! Ya, atas kehendak kita, semua boleh buat, jikalau tak nak, dipaksa pun kita tak akan boleh buat. Itu biasa kan, manusia, they only do what they want to do...macam saya, hehehe..

Today, Hb, Fifa and me had something light.. for lunch. We went to USJ 21 at Husin Pasembor.
We had Mee Rebus, Mee Goreng and Pasembor with chendol and Three layer teh.

Each time when I was into something...mesti ada interuption. Huhuhu! my Sewing Machine masuk workshop.. gear patah *according to the SINGER technician*!! I just started to sew my cushion then, it happened. Well, there went my project.
Tuesday, Hb wanted to accompany me and Fifa to Midvalley, to buy our ladies undergarments.... *Fifa's on a semester break for one an half month* And being the only girl, Papa was always so generous. So, we had our lunch at Chili's. Then, to Metro looking for our....*under*.. while Hb waited at ground floor. I had not been to Metro, for quite sometime. I went crazy to see the household stuff. Can't helped myself, bought one Turrine bowl and a platter..cheap! And, like always, I was rushing before Hb get restless.
Wednesday, spent time with Sis Intan at the Curve and had our breakfast in Ikea. Then rushed to fetch Hb *Pantai* three hours later.
It was four long days my Sewing Machine at the workshop, until this morning the technician called wanting me to collect. My God! it's too expensive rm 210...don't you think so? I was speechless, but at the same time keen to continue what I had left on Monday...my Cushions.
I started sewing impatiently, and mistakes? Oh! that can't be helped...unpicked here and there. And... I managed to sow three Cushions today...hmm, will continue tomorrow, insyallah.
Pictures? I was too absorbed with my work.... but no, no, it's too messy with fabrics, pins, tassle and etc...everywhere. Of course, I want to share it with you guys. Tunggu...
Oh, by the way, if not because of my Sister who inspired me of the Cushion's idea, I would not be doing it. Thank you Sis Teh, now, I have new Cushions for RAYA...

When I'm Bored...Cuttoo Day

When I'm bored.....I would baked, sew, or do gardening. I am not the kind of person who would sit still *goyang kaki*... I am the kind who like to be on my feet *angkat bakul sendiri* but honestly... yours truly is that kind....
Those days, long before Hb was sicked.. I would be busy a month before Ramadhan, sewing my only princess's dresses with smockings and bullions...two to three pairs *macam tak pecaya, you* and sew cushions for the house and what not. Came Ramadhan, I entertained my children and beloved Hb by cooking their favorite food. And not to mention the cookies that I loved to make for us, my Mum and my in Laws that was a week or so before Raya.. Getting prepared to Balik Kampong was another thing, to pack for five and can you imagine, beg sampai buncit..yes, semua nya baru, from top to toe. Two days before the journey, I had packed everything and the bag had been parked outside my room, at the family area. I remembered that one night, I dreamed that theft had broke in and took my bag away, hehe.. You can tell, how busy I was at that time, stressed, tension, and full of excitement...
*Sigh* I am missing all that. I don't have to rush for balik kampong or making lots of cookies...of course I will bake, insyallah. Everyone in the family understands.....
Tho, Hb is recuperating, I don't think is a good idea to travel back North in a jam. Tatkala ku terkenang, sedih di hati yang teramat sangat.. Whatever it is, what we do, enjoy to the fullest, as time will not wait for us. And cannot turn back the clock. But now, I really cherish the past!

And back to the present... I have all the time in the world, with Hb and the Kids. I want to enjoy what I had missed with Hb. I want to go slightly slow *if I can* with daily routine, as I have nothing to rush for, hmm..

As I said, when I am bored...I will sew..... in fact already started to cut a few pieces of materials to make cushions. I had not touched any of those materials that I kept for four long years. And guessed what.. I wore a mask, to protect myself from the dust. My sinus is bad.

Anyway, peeps wait for my new project... and now, lets enjoy some pictures I took at Cuttoo get together last Friday.
