The Scent after the Rain...

 Asalammualaikum..

When I was young.. I love the smell after the rain. I would run out of the house or anywhere I was.. just to get the smell after the rain. Would never want to miss it for anything..
What was the smell like?  No better words to explain. The smell of rain dropped on the road, pavement, grass, plants and etc..Those combined, gave the air a nice smell, it could be the smell of Earth. All the same, it gave me a sense of freshness..I always thought. I did not care whether it's clean air or not at that time.. For all I know I love it..it gives me the kind of feeling of satisfaction I could not described. Sad or happy? I could not explain it too..but I am addicted to it..

Until now, the feeling of going out to breathe the air after the rain is always there with me to enjoy and appreciate God's creations.. how beautiful it was to see now, the scenery of  my garden after the rain..

 These days, I was with Hb sitting side by side and enjoying the sight, the sound and the smell from what was left from the rain that felt on the trees, flowers and the grass. Hmmm..nice smell! And I got the best feeling. Thank you God!

 The plants enjoy the rain too I supposed, leaving them fresh until the next rain drops.

And look at my Petunia.. it stay healthy without me watering them.. thanks to the rain.
Though rain sometime gives me the blues..but once it stopped I could not stopped loving the smell..and the blues fade away...

Food..

What best food to eat after the rain..
The cold wet weather comes nicely with something hot and soupy.. That is a natural feeling or desire for a Foodie...
I made Siamese style soup Tulang *daging Qurban* hot, sour and spicy. Yes, it felt so goood when it went down the throat, it gives you the heat on the cold night. That was our dinner.

Mine, I love to have it just like that..

 We were at Blue Wave Hotel attended Dina's son who married  Zaiton's daughter, our friends. Hb was coaxed to accompany me as none of my children want to be my Chaperone.

    Betuilah kata Cik Som tu ari, makin tambah intim gamaknya time takdek maid tu yerr.. atleast akak ada gek le taman nak duduk berdua-duaan, klu saya mati kutu le tak dek apa nak ditenung depan umah tu hehe..
    p/s : I pulak klu time hari hujan and pandang kt luar rumah tgk pokok2 hati mesti rasa nak nangis tatau kenapa melancholy le sesangat

    I memang suka garden kan, so you will enjoy the scenery and bau2 rumput and what not di luar tu. At times too, I rasa sedih tgk2 pokok etc..tapi you dpt rasa satu kepuasan.
